Arolo beach (Leggiuno)
Arolo Beach is among the beaches of Lake Maggiore belonging to the municipality of Leggiuno.
Arolo Beach is located on the Lombard shore of Lake Maggiore, on the road that connects the amazing tourist village of Laveno-Mombello to the beautiful tourist village of Angera, past the Reno Beach and before reaching the Guree Beach in Monvalle.
Less than 5 minutes by car you can also reach the Eremo di Santa Caterina del Sasso.

It is an equipped beach, there are showers and public toilets near by the Bar de Sass which is a typical beach bar equipped for evening and weekends aperitifs. The bar is open from May to September.
Arolo Beach is one of the Lake Maggiore beaches suitable for everyone. Young people do like it because of the opportunity to swim to "the rocks" and to dive from various heights but this beach is also suitable for families with children, who can play in the sandbox and with games on the beach, near the Bar de Sass.
In the hottest hours of the day, the trees along the entire beach will be able to guarantee refreshment and shade.

Like all the Lake Maggiore beaches, Arolo Beach is very popular with tourists during summer and, for this reason, it will not always be easy to find parking by the lake.
The most convenient parking to reach the beach is right on the lakeside, but there are limited places and, especially on Sunday, it runs out quickly. In the town center there are two other parking lots from which you can reach the beach in a few minutes, descending from the picturesque stone staircase.
Right on the beach there is also the Restaurant Antico Lido, where you can taste typical dishes and enjoy an exciting view from the covered terrace overlooking Lake Maggiore.
